Introducing NATP’s Tax Professional of the Year

For the past six years, NATP has been presenting the Tax Professional of the Year Award to recognize those tax professionals who go above and beyond in service to their community and profession. Candidates for this award are nominated by their peers, and must meet various criteria in order to qualify. Although considered, Chapter involvement is not required to win this award, leaving this opportunity open to our members without a Chapter and our growing number of international members.

This year’s Tax Professional of the Year has gone above and beyond in both her service to her Chapter, and especially her community. She has been preparing taxes for over 30 years, and has been an NATP member for over 20 years. She has been very active in her local Chapter, having been an officer for 14 years and a member of the Board of Directors for 16 years. In addition to her service to NATP, she has a long list of volunteer activities that she performs outside of the tax profession. Congratulations Sandy L. Schroeder EA, CFP, from Brooklyn Park, MN!
